Board of Trustees

The Board of trustees of the Salem Fire Protection District is currently a trio of businessmen that have been appointed by the Marion County Board. Appointed to be the policy makers, stewards of the funds, and last but not least, "where the buck stops".

All three are entreprenurs with varying backgrounds including manufacturing, finance, development, and sales. Two of the trustees also have extensive backgrounds in the fire service

It is the goal of this Board to take the District's monetary receipts and insure there is a stable platform from which the safest, best trained, best qualified fire/rescue operation can be fielded. The three Board members continually work as a team to that end.
