Fire Engines

Engines - Draw water from there own onboard water tank, allow it to enter the pump which adds pressure to it and then moves the water to the hose lines that are connected to the pump.  The pump's capacity is measured by the number of gallons it can pump in a minute (gpm). They also carry self-contained breathing apparatus, fire hose, nozzles, ladders, axes and many pieces of equipment needed by the firefighters for fire suppression.

9536 - Engine

A 2010 E-one class A pumper/tender with a six person enclosed cab. The pumper is equipped with a 2000 gallon poly tank, 2000 gpm pump, and an onboard generator. The pumper also has a 1000 gpm pre-piped deck gun, three 2.5" pre-connect, three 1 ¾" pre-connects ,1000' of 5" hose, 9 S.C.B.A.s, 7 spare bottles, 2 portable radios, 2 hand lights, vent fan, Hurst power unit, cutters, spreaders, 500 gpm blitz fire nozzle, ground ladders, and numerous other fire fighting hand tools and appliances.

9531 - Engine

A 1999 E-one class A pumper/tender with a six person enclosed cab. The pumper is equipped with a 2000 gallon poly tank, 2000 gpm pump, 30 gallon foam tank, and 3K generator. The pumper also has a 1000 gpm pre-piped deck gun, two 2.5" pre-connect, three 1 ¾" pre-connects 1000' of 5" hose, 6 S.C.B.A.s, 4 spare bottles, 2 portable radios, 2 hand lights, vent fan, Hurst power unit, cutters, spreaders, 500 gpm blitz fire nozzle, ground ladders, and numerous other fire fighting hand tools and appliances.

9532 - Engine

A 2000 Freightliner/E-one class A pumper.  The pumper is equipped with a 1000 gallon poly tank, 1250 gpm pump, 1000 gpm pre-piped deck gun, one 3" pre-connect, two 1 ¾" crosslays, and a rear mounted booster reel.  The pumper is also equipped with 1000' of 5" hose, 4 S.C.B.A.s, 4 spare bottles, 10 gallons of AR-AFFF foam, nozzle and inductor, fire ground repeater radio, 3 portable radios and numerous fire fighting hand tools.

9517 - Reserve Engine

A 1968 Seagrave class A pumper with a five person cab.  This reserve pumper is equipped with a 500 gallon tank, 1250 gpm pump, 1 ½" pre-connect, and two booster reels.

Engine/Tenders - Engine/Tenders are used to hold large volumes of water. They are paticulary useful in the rural areas of our district where there are not any fire hydrants due to the lack of a municipal water supply. Our Engine/Tenders both carry folding tanks which when used allows the Engine/Tender to off load throuh a dump valve on the rear of the vehicle into a folding tank, when on scene the engine can draft water from the folding tank while the dumping Engine/Tenders goes back to a water source for more water. The Engine/Tenders are equipped the same as the Department Engines , The Ddifference being the size of the water tank, thus making them dual purpose vehicles.

9527 - Tender / Engine

A 1987 Pierce class A pumper/tender with a five person cab.  The pumper is equipped with a 2000 gallon poly tank, 1500 gpm pump, 1000 gpm pre-piped deck gun, two 3" pre-connects, three 1 ¾" crosslays, and a rear mounted 10" quick dump. The pumper is also equipped with 1000' of 5" hose, 4 S.C.B.A.s, 4 spare bottles, 20 gallons of AR-AFFF foam, nozzle and inductor, fire ground repeater radio, 3 portable radios, 3 hand lights, 2100 gallon portable tank, 750 gpm portable pump, chain saw, and numerous fire fighting hand tools and appliances.

9522 - Tender / Engine

A 1976 Seagrave class A pumper/tender with a five person cab.  The pumper is equipped with a 2000 gallon poly tank, 1250 gpm pump,1000 gpm deck gun, one 3" pre-connect, two 1 ¾" crosslays, and a rear mounted 10" quick dump.  The pumper is also equipped with 1000' of 5" hose, 4 S.C.B.A.s, 4 spare bottles,   20 gallons of AR-AFFF foam, nozzle and inductor, 2 portable radios, 2 hand lights, 2100 gallon portable tank, fill point equipment, and numerous fire fighting hand tools and appliances.
